Helping those with limited Mobility Into a Car

For patients that require assisted ambulation, getting in and out of a car can be difficult for them and their caregiver. Often, they need to back into the seat with help—and then struggle to lift and swivel their legs to face forward. 

We could use your help

While there many options on the market from simple fabric items, to very sophisticated transfer systems (usually for those in a wheelchair). 

We are trying to understand how many patient's/caregivers could use a product for those who need assisted ambulation. What would improve the process and is there a large enough population to support the development of such a product.
